TRT: Cut #1 :14

Suggested Lead: Ethanol is helping the United States to become more energy independent while bringing greater profitability to producers. Plants are being constructed across the Sorghum Belt and National Sorghum Producers Past President Greg Shelor (She-ler) of Minneola, Kansas is excited about one going up east of Dodge City.

Grain Prices to Increase Thanks to Ethanol Plants

TRT Cut #2 :14

Sorghum growers are optimistic about high grain prices being fueled by ethanol demand and hope for the demand to continue further down the road. Shelor said producers can look for an increase in price due to the new ethanol plants.

Ethanol Plants Give Sorghum Producers an Outlet to Sell Grains
